Description
The terrorist attacks from the 11th September have changed the world ... for every one of us ... especially for people who lost one of their relatives......
I have painted this picture in memory of this day
...
As many other people I have followed it on TV.
One picture that I saw was so hard that it’s still in my head and I can’t forget...
A Jung woman maybe 20 years old...stood far away from the crowd sets on the knees and starts to cry. She sat in front of a commemorative wall that was allover names on it. She holds a rose in her hand. Watching against the wall and just crying....lost the man that she would marry the next day.... This has stirred me very much... a so young love takes a so dramatically end....... terribly

it's five years ago already, but still we live in a world
full of uncertainty, hatred and intolerance.
Peace among different etnicities, religions and beliefs
should be feasable, but we have to work hard for it...together.
HOPE
+ 10 for a highly moving image

As special I´ll thank all that people who understand the theme. who remembered on the 11´th september.
Who remembered on this day and the cruelty that happened with the civilians.
and maybe think about what happened to people from the war after.
I guess the only thing is hope .
How Wallace said it already.

I'm sick of violance too) and I'm sooo damn afraid..I wish somebody could stop it.
All I can do is wait for it to come.. I don't wanna live at shelter again , thought I've got nice company there
Gotto make a backups before it's coming..
The girl doesn't look like 20 years old thought.. - did you mean that?
I like your style, reflection and red rose.
Well done

particularly curlyhair
nope it isn´t a 20 year old woman .i gues you think about the woman i told..this was my inspiration ...i don´t copy the reality...i hold all open ..even the sex of the person as posible...it is a nonsex theme ...a nonrace theme i think.therefore you see no amarican flags no Fire-brigade guy and stuff like this.it is a human theme a desaster that happened to us. not only to the US.
to us progressive and smart civilized apes.
peace!
